Note: The WCVMA had temporarily paused all in-person events due to Covid-19. We will restart our normal in-person educational events once we have re-populated our board. We are not taking new members at this time, but hope to open membership again soon. If you would like to volunteer to serve on the WCVMA board to help us get going again, please contact Dr. Lyssa Alexander at DocA@allcreaturesvet.net.

The Washtenaw County Veterinary Medical Association (WCVMA) is a group of veterinary team members committed to providing local continuing education and promoting community among veterinarians and their support staff in the Washtenaw County area.

We traditionally have held three events per year that include dinner at a local venue, a CE lecture and conclude with a short WCVMA meeting. You do not have to be a member to attend these meetings but a small fee will apply for non-members. Most of our CE is targeted at veterinarians, but we try to hold at least one event per year that is tailored to the entire veterinary field.

Once we get going again, we hope that all interested veterinarians, vet techs and practice managers will become members and participate in upcoming events.

Do you know someone who might be interested in joining the WCVMA? Please share this information widely so that all interested parties can have an opportunity to participate.

We manage most of our communications through a group email and fax list that are maintained by our secretary. If you would like to receive email or fax updates, please contact our secretary, Dr. Lyssa Alexander, to be added to this list:
